How FES technology works in the appliance

IVES™ uses an advanced approach involving functional electrical stimulation (FES). This technology allows precise stimulation of upper and lower limb muscles by sensing electrical signals (EMG), which helps to rehabilitate a variety of problems such as injuries or neurological diseases.

Using FES technology, IVES™ provides adaptive stimulation that activates weakened muscles and stimulates their development. This leads to faster progress in rehabilitation as the stimulation is based on the patient’s needs and condition.

The main advantages:

• Six stimulation modes: the device offers six stimulation modes (Power Assist, External Assist, Trigger, External Trigger, Normal, Sensor Trigger), allowing the therapist to individually tailor the therapy and adapt the treatment to the different needs of the patients.

• Settings storage: allows you to store settings for up to 45 patients, allowing you to quickly restart treatment without having to re-set each time you visit.

• Support for therapists and patients: the therapist easily sets up the treatment, which the patient can then use independently at home or anywhere.

• Compact and easy to use: the IVES™ is lightweight (only 95 g) and portable, making it easy to use anywhere. At the touch of a button, treatment starts quickly.
