Neurocryostimulation can reduce the temperature from 32 °C to 4 °C in 30 seconds, thanks to a cooling power of -78 °C and a pressure of 50 bar (CO2). The heat shock is immediate, stimulating skin receptors which send a strong and very fast message to the hypothalamus to activate the neurovegetative reflex system.
The use of the Cryoscreen system produces an immediate pain-relieving effect, allowing the management of an inflammatory crisis as a real alternative to medication. These effects, together with a strong vasomotor reflex (117% deep vasodilatation in 20 seconds) and a muscle relaxation effect, further enhance the action of neurocryostimulation and its results.
