Innovative 3D analysis of body posture

Moti Physio is an innovative device for an accurate, safe and objective assessment of body posture. It uses cutting-edge imaging technology to analyse conditions such as scoliosis, thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, rotations and other postural abnormalities.

It presents results clearly and understandably in a user-friendly format, making it the ideal choice for professionals – healthcare workers, physiotherapists and fitness trainers.

PAViR technology

Why is posture analysis important?

3D posture analysis is based on virtual reconstruction (PAViR technology) by MGsolutions. The device measures neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions and displays them in a 3D skeletal model.

Results your client understands instantly

First impressions matter. The 3D view and quantitative data show clients the condition of their body without lengthy explanations.

Moti Physio software on a laptop – 3D skeleton and head posture assessment
Moti Physio software – head posture in the ideal, current and worsened stage
3 posture stages

Ideal, current and worsened posture

IdealCurrentWorsened

The software shows three stages of body condition: ideal, current and worsened posture. Seeing all three side by side, clients realise for themselves why good posture matters.

Deviation in degrees Mild, moderate, severe level Factors affecting posture
Moti Physio software – tight muscles in red, weak muscles in blue
Muscle condition

Stretch the red, strengthen the blue

Tightness – stretching Weakness – strengthening

Muscle condition is explained simply: stretch the red muscles, strengthen the blue ones. The muscles related to imbalances are based on the Janda approach and Anatomy Trains.

Click any muscle to see which imbalances it is related to, while pop-up windows explain conditions such as rounded shoulders and lumbar lordosis in detail.

Benefits

Why is posture assessment important?

Moti Physio – accuracy comparable to X-ray imaging
  • Low back and neck pain

Poor posture can cause or worsen neuromusculoskeletal symptoms and disrupt our kinetic chain.

  • Muscle imbalances in athletes

The device helps detect and correct imbalances that hold back performance, enabling preventive or early intervention.

  • Early signs of scoliosis

Cutting-edge 3D imaging detects unusual spinal curvatures and body asymmetries. It recognises 87 types of asymmetric muscle conditions – before problems become serious.

  • Monitoring children over time

By continuously monitoring posture, the device records changes over time, allowing early intervention and adjustment of therapy as scoliosis develops.

  • Tailored exercise programmes

Based on an accurate analysis, physiotherapists and orthopaedists can design tailored exercise and therapy programmes to strengthen muscles and improve posture.

Analysis modes

Static and dynamic analysis – results

For an accurate assessment of the patient’s posture and neuromusculoskeletal function.

Moti Physio software – imbalance index in dynamic analysis
Dynamic analysis

Hidden core strength and balance

Dynamic analysis reveals what stays hidden to the naked eye. Once clients understand the signals their body sends through movement, together you can achieve better balance, more refined movement and better athletic performance.

Imbalance index Imbalance ranking Comparison with ideal posture
01

Static analysis

Posture assessment from the front, back and side – shoulder height difference, pelvic tilt and rotation, knee alignment and spinal curves.

02

Overhead squat

Dynamic movement analysis – tracking the angle between the knees and the shift of the centre of gravity during the squat.

03

Single-leg balance test

Measures balance time and the centre of motion for the left and right leg.

04

Spinal curvature

3D view of the spine with measurement of thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis and a risk assessment for individual postural deviations.

05

Muscle condition analysis

Shows shortened and weakened muscles with a risk level – e.g. sternocleidomastoid (SCM) tension – and a stretching recommendation.

06

Head posture and recommendations

Forward head posture assessment with a before-and-after comparison, causes and a recommended exercise video for the patient.

Safety

Is the device safe to use?

It is completely safe. Unlike X-ray imaging (e.g. the EOS imaging system), the PAViR 3D imaging system allows a quick and easy posture assessment – in just 30 seconds – without any radiation risk.

Moti Physio is a non-invasive device, so posture can be monitored safely and frequently – including in children. As it does not use X-rays, it is also suitable for pregnant women.
