Moti Physio postural analysis

3D posture analysis is an innovative method for assessing body alignment and neuromusculoskeletal balance. It is based on virtual reconstruction (PAViR technology) used by the advanced Moti Physio device from MGsolutions. The device measures neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions according to 10 scientific criteria, 24 body landmarks and 87 types of asymmetric muscle conditions and displays them in a 3D skeletal model.

Both static and dynamic analysis (overhead squat, single-leg balance test) are available for an accurate assessment of the patient's posture and neuromusculoskeletal function.

Why is posture assessment important?

✓ Poor posture can cause or worsen neuromusculoskeletal symptoms, such as low back and neck pain, and disrupt our kinetic chain.
✓ Many athletes have muscular imbalances that prevent them from improving their performance. The device allows imbalances to be detected and corrected, and preventive or early action to be taken.
✓ The device uses cutting-edge 3D imaging technology to accurately measure and analyse posture. This allows it to detect early signs of scoliosis, such as unusual curvatures of the spine and asymmetries in body structure.
✓ Moti Physio can identify 87 types of asymmetric muscle conditions that may be associated with scoliosis. This makes it possible to identify potential problems before they become serious.
✓ By continuously monitoring children's posture, the device can record changes over time. This allows early intervention if the condition worsens, and adjustment of therapies according to the development of scoliosis.
✓ Based on a precise analysis, experts such as physiotherapists and orthopaedists can prepare tailored exercise programmes and therapies that help strengthen muscles and improve posture. This can prevent further development of scoliosis.
✓ Moti Physio is a non-invasive device, which means that there is no exposure to radiation. This allows safe and frequent monitoring of the child's posture without any health risk.
Safety

Moti Physio – is the device safe to use?

The device is completely safe to use. Unlike X-ray imaging (e.g. the EOS imaging system), our PAViR 3D imaging system allows us to assess posture easily and quickly (in only 30 s) without the risk of radiation.
